• Cleaning Responsibility
  Where cleaning is not included in the package you have chosen, the Hirer is fully responsible for cleaning the premises and hired equipment after use.

• Condition of Hall
  The hall must be left in the same clean and tidy condition as it was found. This includes (but is not limited to):

  • All tables and chairs returned to the store cupboard in their original arrangement.

  • Floors hoovered and mopped.

  • All bins emptied and rubbish removed from the premises.

  • All plates, cups, and other crockery washed, dried, and returned to their correct storage boxes.

  • Any spillages cleaned immediately to prevent staining or damage.

• Equipment Care
  All hired equipment must be returned in a clean and undamaged condition.

• Cleaning Fee
  If the venue and/or our equipment is not left in a suitable condition, a cleaning fee of £85.00 will be charged. This may be deducted from the security deposit or invoiced separately.

• Third-Party Venue Bookings
  Where we book a venue on your behalf, and the venue provider determines that cleaning is not up to their required standard, any cleaning charges imposed on us by the venue will be passed directly to the Hirer. Such charges shall be your full responsibility and liability and may be deducted from your deposit or invoiced separately.

• Damage or Loss
  Any damage, breakages, or loss of equipment will be charged to the Hirer.

• Uncertainty or Questions
  If you are unsure about any cleaning requirements or responsibilities, please contact our team prior to the end of your hire period.

Equipment Hire Policy

Thank you for considering Little Lux Catering for your equipment hire needs. This Equipment Hire Policy outlines the terms and conditions governing the rental of equipment from our company. If you have any questions or concerns about this policy, please contact us at hello@littleluxcatering.je.

Equipment Availability and Reservation

Availability: Equipment availability is subject to change based on demand and inventory levels. We recommend making reservations well in advance to secure the equipment you need for your event.

Reservation: To reserve equipment, we recommend getting in contact with us at least 7 days before your event date. However, we understand that this is not always possible, therefore if you are looking for last minute hire, we will always try to accommodate and recommend you give us a call on 07797741132.

We require a deposit or advance payment to confirm your reservation. You can however book all of our services and pay in full online, via the Store.

Rental Period and Rates

Rental Period: The rental period begins on the agreed-upon delivery date and ends on the scheduled return date. Additional charges may apply for overnight / multiple days hire.

Rates: Rental rates are determined based on the type of equipment, duration of rental, and any additional services requested. Please inquire about specific rates for the equipment you wish to hire or visit the Store.

Equipment Care and Responsibility

Care and Handling: Clients are responsible for handling the equipment with care and following any instructions provided by Little Lux Catering. Equipment should be used only for its intended purpose and returned in the same condition as received.

Damage and Loss: Clients are liable for any damage to or loss of equipment during the rental period. Charges for repairs or replacement will be billed accordingly, in line with this policy.

Cleaning: Equipment must be returned clean and free of food debris, stains, or other contaminants. A cleaning fee may be assessed if the equipment is returned in unsatisfactory condition.

Hirer’s Responsibility – Third Party

The Hirer shall at all times and in all respects indemnify the Owner against and from, any and every expense liability, loss, claim or proceeding whatsoever in respect of any personal injury whatsoever (including but without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing, injury to the Hirer (if the same is possible) and injury in respect of damage to any property whatsoever arising out of or in connection with or consequent upon the hire, delivery, use, misuse, non-use, repossession, collection, return or non-return of the Plant or any part thereof.

What are my (the hirers) responsibilities?

You are responsible for the security of the equipment for the duration of the hire, provision of a safe electricity supply, safe operation of the equipment as per our "Operating Instructions" and Constant Adult Supervision. If you feel that you are unable to provide constant adult supervision then, we can provide provide a party host which will incur a charge please contact us for further details.

Delivery

Delivery Service: Little Lux Catering offers delivery free of charge!

Cancellation and Changes

In the event of a cancellation within 72 hours of the scheduled rental date, a 50% charge of the scheduled hire cost will be applicable, with the remaining balance eligible for transfer to an alternative date. We kindly request that you notify us promptly if any adjustments to your reservation are necessary.

Changes to Reservation: Changes to rental dates, quantities, or equipment selections may be accommodated subject to availability, prior to 72 hours notice as mentioned above.

Little Lux Catering Limited - Refund Policy

Thank you for choosing Little Lux Catering for your catering needs. We strive to provide excellent service and ensure your satisfaction with every order. If you have any questions or concerns about our refund policy, please contact us at hello@littleluxcatering.je.

Deposit

A non-refundable deposit of £150 is required at the time of booking to secure your chosen date and our services. Please note should you decide not to proceed with the reservation the £150.00 for your slot on that date is not refunded. We are a small local business and can only accomodate a certain number of parties per day.

Catering Refund Eligibility

Refunds for catering services provided by Little Lux Catering are subject to the following conditions:

• Catering Cancellation Policy: Orders cancelled within 72 hours of the scheduled event date will be eligible for a refund minus the cost of the goods already purchased for the event. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the event will be subject to pay the amount in full.

• Quality Concerns: If you are dissatisfied with the quality of the food or service provided by Little Lux Catering, please notify us immediately during the event. We will work to resolve the issue promptly.

Equipment Hire and Party Package Refunds

Refund Process

To request a refund, please contact us at hello@littleluxcatering.je with your order details and reason for the refund request. Our customer service team will review your request and may require additional information or documentation to process the refund.

If your refund request is approved, we will process the refund within 7 days of the approval date. Refunds will be issued via the original method of payment whenever possible.

Non-Refundable Items

Certain items or circumstances may not be eligible for refunds, including:

• Any Catering orders cancelled within 48 hours before the scheduled event date.

• Any Equipment Hire cancelled within 72 Hours before the scheduled event date.

• Any customised or personalised items, subject to if they have been made. Please note they are made approximately 2-3 weeks before the event date.

• Expenses incurred by Little Lux Catering in preparing for your event, such as ingredient purchases or staffing costs.

• Please note that all venue hire fees are non-refundable.

Late or Missing Refunds

If you have not received your refund within the specified timeframe, please check your bank account or credit card statement. If the refund has not been credited, please contact us immediately at hello@littleluxcatering.je for assistance.

Changes to Orders

Changes to catering orders, including menu selections, guest counts, or event details, may be accommodated subject to availability and additional charges. Please contact us as soon as possible to discuss any changes to your order.

We appreciate your co-operation in helping us create a safe and enjoyable dining experience for all our clients.

Where Little Lux Catering provides food as part of a children’s hosted party or catering package, the use of external caterers, third-party food providers, or client-supplied catering is strictly prohibited.

This includes, but is not limited to, hot food, cold food, buffets, grazing tables etc.

This policy is in place due to:

• Food safety and cross-contamination risks

• Allergy management and compliance

• Quality control and brand reputation

For this reason, no mixing of catering is permitted under any circumstances when our catering services are included.

Equipment Hire Only Bookings

Where a booking is for equipment hire only and no food is supplied by Little Lux Catering, clients may arrange their own external catering at their discretion. However:

• External catering is not permitted alongside any catering supplied by us.

• Responsibility for food safety, allergens, licensing, and compliance rests entirely with the client and/or their chosen caterer.

Face paint, glitter paint, confetti, slime, and similar materials are strictly prohibited on or near our equipment. An additional £85.00 cleaning fee will be charged to the booking party if any such materials are used, whether we are informed in advance or not.
